DHEA Side Effects – Are DHEA Benefits Realistic ?

The answer to the question you just read is "Yes, they are". Nature's designer says so. Younger animals ~humans included~ enjoy a splendid state of health and vitality. Both are always inseparably connected to rock-solid levels of DHEA. Consequently, there is no need for them to supplement. However, the answer "Yes, they are" is incomplete in older folks. To them, the answer should read "Yes, they are as long as certain conditions are met in advance".

It is not wise to believe that if an older person’s levels of DHEA are low ~by compariosn with levels of a younger person~ all that person has to do is to supplement and the benefits of DHEA will make him as healthy and robust as when he was 20 years old.

Well...  no. It does not work like that. Nature's designer is substantially more elaborated and complex.

That designer requires much more than the simplistically act of supplementing ~as if we were taking a cup of tea~ to gain benefits without side effects of DHEA. The reason is because higher than normal levels of a major hormone can do what we expect it to do as long as our body has the health condition that must exist "in advance". Then, and only then, our system is likely to be receptive to higher than normal levels of DHEA without meaningful risks.

For instance, our body...

* Should take in great many nutrients "in addition" to Vitamins & Minerals.

* Should not be exposed to a medical treatment that requires several presecription drugs ~or even a few~ nor Pain Relievers and over-the-counter drugs consumed as if they were candy.

* Should receive adequate quantity of water. Every hour or so, four ounces of water free from Chlorine and heavy metals should suffice.

* Should have quality sleep and rest every night for the recommended 7 to 8 hours.

* Our intestines should be evacuated regularly. They must receive good quantities of the two kinds of fiber and regularly receive good quantities of Friendly Bacteria.

* Our muscles should be properly exercised on a periodic basis not ignoring that extensive running on Treadmill Machines ~or in a park~ wears out joints at a faster rate than expected.

* We must avoid a hectic and stressful life style as well as aggravations and preoccupations all of which are known to be so detrimental to our body and our state of mind.

* Last but surely not the least important is that, according to scientific studies, acts of kindness and consideration to others ~including animals~ has the recently discovered ability to improve physical and mental health.

The list above was not meant to be complete. It was written assuming you have the proper age to supplement. Its intent was to provide the kind of conditions to exist for extended periods of time if we expect our body to be receptive to higher than normal levels of a major hormone.

Should the exact opposite of those events exist ~and remain part of our lives for extensive periods of time~ we should then not supplement and expect to gain benefits of DHEA and no risks of DHEA side effects.

It is wise to realize that benefits of DHEA are realas long as certain conditions are met in advance.It is also wise to realize that if those and othersimilar conditions exist for extended periods oftime, every organ in our system will greatly benefit.Altogether, our actions will promote a lengthy life in health.
